Vintage Chinese cabinet black with hand-painted scenes

DESCRIPTION: A unique oriental cabinet. These cabinets originate from the 1970s, a period of revival for Chinoiserie. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and oriental furniture and objects. During the 1970s, such furniture was made and no two are the same. All elements are applied by hand, always giving it an artistic touch. You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even inside. The front and sides depict traditional Chinese scenes with noble women dressed in beautiful robes in stunning gardens with temples in the background. This is depicted with soapstone. Inside, children playing are depicted with soapstone. Bamboo is painted on the top. In short, a beautiful cabinet for a bohemian interior. DIMENSIONS: Height: 135cm Width: 91cm Depth: 52cm Height upper cabinet space: 64.5cm Width cabinet spaces: 84cm Depth cabinet spaces: 46cm Height lower cabinet space: 29cm. CONDITION: The cabinet still has its original back and all the soapstone is complete. One door of the cabinet has a slightly lighter colour. The top has 2 light spots. A scratch on the soapstone.
