Chinese cabinet in black lacquer, painted and inlaid with hard stones, made in Shanghai, China, mid-20th century. The piece consists of a large chest, 2 drawers, and a 2-door cupboard. The sides, top, and interior of the chest feature hand-painted birds and flowers. The front is inlaid with carved hard stones (soapstone, jade, marble...). The piece is in good condition, but the lacquer is starting to chip in places. Height: 92cm. Width: 62cm. Depth: 38cm.
