DESCRIPTION: A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets are from the 1970s, a period when Chinoiserie experienced a revival. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and Oriental furniture and objects. During the 1970s, such furniture was made and each piece is unique. All elements are applied by hand, giving each cabinet an artistic touch. You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even inside. The front and top feature birds and flowers, and the sides also show birds and flowers. The doors are painted with simple flowers on the inside. After painting, everything is finished with lacquer. There are two cabinet spaces: the upper one, which used to house a TV, and a lower cabinet space. The doors are closed with a unique pin system, where the pin key opens the lock when inserted. In short, a very beautiful cabinet for a bohemian or Oriental-style home or shop. DIMENSIONS: Height: 134.5cm, Width: 81.5cm, Depth: 45.5cm. Upper cabinet: Height: 55.5cm, Width: 80cm, Depth: 40cm. Lower cabinet: Height: 52.5cm (removable shelf in the middle, can also be moved up). CONDITION: Good condition, some scratches, many of which have been touched up and are not noticeable. In some places, the cabinet has a slight haze. (See last photos for a better idea of the state).
