DESCRIPTION: A unique Oriental cabinet. These cabinets originate from the 1970s, a time when Chinoiserie was revived. This style emerged in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and Oriental furniture and objects. These types of furniture were made during the 1970s, and no two are alike. All elements are hand-assembled, giving each piece an artistic touch. You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even the inside. The front depicts a traditional Chinese scene with birds, flowers, fishermen, and temples. The sides depict birds and water lilies. The doors are painted inside with bamboo and flowers. There are two compartments: the upper one, which formerly housed a TV, and another compartment below. In short, a very beautiful cabinet for a bohemian or Oriental-style home or shop.
