Jean Rivier glazed ceramic pitcher

Iconic pitcher signed jean rivier (1916-2017). Between 1935 and 1968 he was part of the group of potters of vallauris with pablo picasso, jean marais, jean gerbino, roger capron, robert picault, alexandre kostanda, jean derval or jacques innocenti. Some of his pieces, especially those with geometric motifs, are in the museum of ceramics of vallauris. In 1968, he left vallauris with his wife claudie and they settled in tours.
