Jug, carafe jean-claude courjault, kéraluc, quimper

Unique piece in salt stoneware, handmade by the artist Jean-Claude COURJAULT, at the KERALUC pottery in Quimper, where he settled in 1960 before leaving around 1973. He then moved to La Cerisaie, near Chinon. This is a handcrafted piece that showcases the potter's skill with the work of his hands and its irregularities. This piece is signed with the artist's name on its base, with a mark on the back indicating that it is a stoneware piece, to differentiate it from other pieces for which the firing is not the same (Earthenware). The geometric decorations are inspired by nature in shades of brown and grey-green.
