Glazed pyrite stoneware pitcher – Pierre Lion (Puisaye), c. 1970

Beautiful jug or carafe in pyrite stoneware, glazed in beige tones, with a milky colour effect. Artisanal piece in studio ceramics, stamped and signed with a recessed Lion mark under the base, attributed to the workshop of Pierre Lion in Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye. This jug is in very good vintage condition. It was made in France in the 1970s. It features a design that is both rustic and contemporary. A lovely piece of craftsmanship, ideal for a table or as a decorative vase.
