Antique glazed terracotta jug from the late 19th century.

Charming antique terracotta pitcher, turned and partially glazed, probably made between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. It features a traditional rounded shape, a thick handle, and a small spout. The upper part is covered with a beautiful reddish-brown glaze, extended by irregular drips on the natural clay left exposed. The interior is glazed in a warm ochre yellow tone. The glaze offers subtle iridescent reflections in places, likely indicating its age and use. The irregularities from turning, the nuances of firing, and the marks left by time give it all the charm of authentic folk pottery. Overall good condition.
