Rustic Farmhouse Original Folk Art Painted Bridal Cupboard 1753

Beautiful 18th-century painted bridal cupboard, dating from 1753 and originating from Franconia, southern Germany. The cupboard features a special original painting with decorative stripe motifs and characteristic shapes, a fine expression of the regional folk art from this period. The painting has locally faded and worn over time, but this has given it a particularly authentic and lived-in character. The piece still has the original, working lock and the corresponding key. Inside there are four shelves. Occasionally present old woodworm traces have been carefully checked and treated. This item must be collected. Or inquire without obligation for delivery costs.
