Large cylinder desk, Directoire

Elegant large mahogany cylinder desk with a marble top and an openwork brass gallery. The quarter-circle cylinder tilts backwards, functioning to reveal a large sliding tray covered in original cognac leather. Five front drawers, one of which has a secret compartment, three in the upper part, and three internal drawers. The desk is decorated with brass and has straight tapered legs. In good condition. Circa 1790-1800, Directoire period.
