Louis XV style mirror – Polychrome and gilded rocaille decor. Elegant and significant Louis XV style mirror, featuring a dynamic frame with rich rocaille decoration. The frame, in an ivory hue enhanced with gilding and touches of green and pink, is adorned with scrolls, foliage, shells, and small flowers. The upper part is crowned with an imposing asymmetrical rocaille motif, particularly decorative. The glass, of beautiful dimensions, follows the curved lines of the frame. The substantial carved consoles positioned at the lower corners give the whole piece a strong presence and allow for a stable display. Beautiful old patina, with wear, minor accidents, and visible restorations on the decor, intentionally preserved and contributing to the charm of the piece.
