Large fireplace mirror – Cream and gold lacquered wood – Louis XV style

Large fireplace mirror – Cream lacquered wood and gold – Louis XV / Napoleon III style. Elegant large fireplace mirror in carved wood, cream lacquered and enhanced with gilding, featuring a beautiful flowing silhouette inspired by Louis XV. The frame is richly decorated with golden fillets, garlands, small flowers, and leaf motifs. The upper part, slightly arched, is topped with an elegant carved floral medallion, framed by ribboned motifs. The lower part features two large scrolls ending in sculpted and gilded feet, giving the mirror a particularly decorative base. The glass, shaped and bevelled, harmoniously follows the curves of the frame. A very decorative model, typical of the historicist taste of the second half of the 19th century, ideal placed on a fireplace, a console, or directly on the floor.
