We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely handmade Venetian secretary, in chinoiserie style, with a gilded brass finish. This piece of utilitarian art is both significant and interesting in any setting, combining a chest of drawers, a desk, and a bookcase. The key operates both locks, and the cupboard at the top left has two internal locks. The condition is perfect for its age, with a beautifully aged finish, exquisite gilding, and hand-painted French style from the 19th century. Dimensions: height 220 cm, width 104.5 cm, depth 51 cm.
