1960s Mid-Century dining table and dining chairs by Schreiber Furniture

The price listed is for the table and chairs. Founded in 1957 by Chaim Schrieber, Schreiber furniture is an interesting British success story. The Company was one of the biggest names in furniture in the 70s, rivalling G Plan and other well known manufacturers. In 1973 they added fitted kitchen to their range, and created 280 Schreiber Furniture Centre shops throughout UK. This dining set is typical of the Schreiber style. Elegant and minimal design with their trademark wood grain Formica and solid Beech frames. The table extends by means of a hinged central flap. Size. Width 142cm X depth 137cm X height 74cm. Condition: Very good Mid-Century condition, only minor signs of wear reflecting age and use. Any damage - no matter how minor - will be detailed in this description.
