Vintage Scandinavian Rosewood Dining Set

This is a vintage Scandinavian dining set, crafted from richly grained rosewood. The ensemble, consisting of an expandable dining table and four matching chairs, is a fine example of Mid-Century Modern design principles, emphasizing clean lines and natural materials. The set is constructed from rosewood, prized for its deep reddish-brown colour and dramatic grain patterns. The four dining chairs feature minimalist frames and are upholstered in black leatherette, providing a durable and classic contrast. The table measures 129 cm in length, 80 cm in width, and 75 cm in height, with an extension mechanism that allows it to expand to 220 cm. Each chair stands 78 cm high, 44 cm wide, and 46 cm deep, with a comfortable seat height of 46 cm. This dining set is preserved in good vintage condition, showing a characterful patina consistent with its age. The structural integrity of both the table and chairs is sound, and the set presents as a complete and cohesive grouping, ready for use. The versatile, expandable design makes this set an excellent centerpiece for a dining room, adapting easily from intimate family meals to larger social gatherings. Its timeless Scandinavian aesthetic complements both modern and classic interior styles.
