Niels Otto Møller Model 15 Dining Table with Six Model 78 Chairs, J.L. Møll

An exceptional Danish Mid-Century Modern dining set designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, dating from the 1960s. The set consists of an extendable Model 15 dining table and six Model 78 dining chairs, crafted from beautifully figured exotic wood with rich, contrasting grain. The table features an integrated 50 cm extension leaf, transforming the round tabletop into an elegant oval form. The entire set has been professionally restored in our workshop. The wooden surfaces were carefully restored and finished with high-quality Osmo oil, enhancing the natural depth and character of the wood. All six chairs feature new, hand-woven seats, made while preserving the original character of the design. The original J.L. Møller manufacturer’s labels have been preserved, together with the Danish Furnituremakers’ Control mark on the table. A highly cohesive and sophisticated example of Danish Mid-Century Modern design, combining exceptional craftsmanship, timeless proportions and beautifully figured natural wood. Dimensions.
