Roulette is the name of this teak set created by the Danish designer and architect Hans Olsen. It was manufactured in the 1960s by the publisher Frem Røjle, as evidenced by the branding on each piece. The backs of the chairs perfectly follow the line of the table's rim, offering a beautifully ordered simplicity that is so Scandinavian. A butterfly extension with brass hinges easily unfolds to accommodate four to six guests. All the lines and proportions of this composition are superbly thought out; the legs are strong yet subtle, the curved backs are crafted in volume, the black synthetic leather seats are inviting, and the division of the tabletop is infinitely discreet. There are minor dents on one side of a backrest and two stretched seats to regret. This wonderful creation is in remarkable condition, and the intense hue of the teak is splendid. Dimensions: diam 120 cm x ht 75 cm + extension 50 cm for the table. L 50 cm x d 43 cm x ht 71 cm (seat 42 cm) for the chairs.
