Pair of solid brass candlesticks produced in Sweden in 1976 to celebrate the centenary of the Zoégas coffee house (1886–1976). These promotional items were made in a minimalist spirit typical of 1970s Scandinavian design, featuring a geometric construction composed of stacked cylindrical volumes. Each candlestick consists of a solid cylindrical base extended by a central stem and a cup designed to hold the candle. The entire piece is turned in brass and presents a simple and functional aesthetic, characteristic of Nordic modernism from this period. The base bears the engraving "Zoégas Kaffe 1886–1976" as well as the brand logo. These candlesticks belong to a series produced in three different sizes, forming a complete set. Complete sets are now sought after by collectors of vintage Scandinavian design.
