Kartell KD6 4006 White Pendant Lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni Italy 1950

Very rare on the market, XXL size pendant light 62 cm in diameter, designed by the world-renowned designers Achille and Pier Castiglioni and manufactured by Kartell in the 1950s. The lampshade is in white methacrylate. The chandelier is made up of 2 lampshades. The small one has 2 hemispheres which contain the bulb, and a very large hat rests on the structure. It is in superb condition. This pendant light has no attribution mark, but is well documented by the history of the design.
