Ceiling lamp model KD7 Mid-Century by Achille Castiglioni for Kartell

Rare pendant lamp by Kartell designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1959. The lamp consists of two parts, the metal frame and the plastic shade. This combination of materials, nickel-plated steel and acrylic, creates a contrast of colour and materiality. The shade rests slightly, fits perfectly into the provided guide, and closes flush. Vintage design, in very good condition with slight wear and patina consistent with age and use. Re-wired and confirmed functional by a professional electrician.
