Vintage Florentine umbrella stand made of reclaimed wood and brass.

Elegant vintage Florentine umbrella stand, made from reclaimed antique wood and brass. The wood features a beautiful patina in warm tones, with irregular grain and numerous old marks: small holes, galleries, and traces left by wood-boring insects. These characteristics belong to the antique wood used in the making and are neither an effect of artificial aging nor damage from the use of the umbrella stand. They give the wood its particularly rich and authentic appearance. The upper part is finished with a wide flared brass collar, accompanied by a brass band and two decorative side handles. The contrast between the irregular surface of the antique wood and the brass gives the whole piece a lot of character. The umbrella stand can also be used as a cane or walking stick holder. In very good vintage condition, particularly well preserved, with slight signs of age and use. The brass shows some discreet surface marks. See the photographs for detailed condition.
