Wooden umbrella stand turned and patinated with iron rings

Cylindrical wooden umbrella stand, with a slightly flared body and a moulded neck, resting on a torus base. Two iron rings are fixed on either side as handles. The wood, a resinous type with a pronounced grain, has received a brown patina that is almost black, highlighting the veining. Height 49 cm, diameter 30 cm. Some chips of varnish on the base and general wear around the edge; the bottom is reinforced and the whole remains stable. To be placed in an entrance, or repurposed as a planter for a large plant.
