Lobster barbotine signed Michel Caugant midnight blue / coral

Beautiful vintage zoomorphic terrine / box, in the shape of a lobster, in barbotine ceramic, signed by michel caugant. Made and hand-painted in portugal. Magnificent flamed midnight blue and coral pink-orange color. 1950s, mid-century. It is in very good general condition. Note a discreet scale on the edge of the bottom, which is not visible when the box is placed (see photo). Remains in excellent general condition. Can be used in the kitchen as well as on a desk, to store pens for example. A sublime line and a real bonhomie for a beautiful decorative piece.
