Vintage LC1 Cassina armchair Le Corbusier Charlotte Perriand 1960-70

The LC1 armchair was designed in 1929 by the famous trio Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Cassina bought the rights and began production in the 1960s. This armchair is numbered 10.601, so it most likely dates from the late 1960s. The chrome-plated tubular frame is in very good condition. The black cowhide or foal seat and backrest are original and also in good condition. The seat shows slight wear, see photos. Original black split leather armrests. Seat height +/- 38cm.
