The LC1 armchair, designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand in the 1920s, is one of the most significant pieces in furniture history. Its defining feature is the adjustable backrest, allowing for a dynamic seating position. The newly crafted seat in deep black leather by a professional saddler and the shiny chrome-plated tubular steel frame create a fascinating contrast. Armrests made of freely suspended leather straps emphasize the light, almost floating aesthetic of the construction. A carefully cleaned, timeless piece in good vintage condition.
