Pair of low-back lounge chairs designed by Rolf Rastad & Adolf Relling for Gimson & Slater, Norway circa 1960. A beautifully sculpted example of Scandinavian modern design, combining organic form with exceptional craftsmanship. The chairs feature elegantly shaped teak frames with flowing armrests that curve seamlessly into the structure, giving them a dynamic and refined silhouette. The low, reclined backs and deep seats offer a relaxed and inviting seating experience. Newly upholstered in a soft cream bouclé fabric, the chairs present a warm and tactile contrast to the rich tones of the teak. The subtle button detailing in the backrests adds a refined touch while maintaining the clean, modern aesthetic. They are in very good condition. The wooden frames show light wear consistent with age, and the upholstery has been renewed in high-quality bouclé fabric. A comfortable and visually striking pair, ideal for both modern and classic interiors.
