Mid-century vintage armchair. This Armchair Type 53, designed by J. Šmidek for TON in 1960s Czechoslovakia, is a standout piece. Its distinguishing element is the large bent armrest, characteristic of products manufactured by TON. The seat has been reupholstered in beige and orange soft fabric. The solid wood legs have been restored and refinished.
