Rare Art Deco armchairs by J. Halabala, model H269, 1930s, set of 2.

Set of two Art Deco armchairs designed by the famous Jindrich Halabala in the 1930s in Czechoslovakia. One of his iconic models, H269. The armchairs have been professionally restored, reupholstered in high-quality fabric, and all the foam and internal upholstery has been replaced; however, the original spring constructions have been preserved in very good original condition. Their construction, made from bent beechwood, highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of Czech furniture-making. The wooden elements have been cleaned and refinished with oil, giving them a natural and classy look. The armchairs are very comfortable and ready for everyday use.
