Antique Japanese commode hand-painted and lacquered.

We are delighted to offer for sale this lovely vintage Japanese chest of drawers from around 1920, hand-painted in yellow and lacquered, on a stand. A very aesthetic and well-made piece, with another similar example available in red. These pieces are now highly sought after as art furniture. The structure is made of well-patinated and lacquered elm, hand-painted in yellow. The item has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and polished by hand, with normal signs of use and age visible.
