Large domed trunk from the 1900s signed Moynat Paris made of wood.

Exceptional domed trunk from the early 20th century signed by the house Moynat, a renowned Parisian trunk maker established in 1849. This trunk consists of a sturdy wooden body covered in period brown fabric, reinforced with curved wooden slats and a rich array of solid brass fittings and corners. The central brass lock is engraved "Moynat Fabricant - 5 Place du Théâtre Français Paris". Original brass manufacturer's plaque on the upper edge and owner's initials "V.B" stencilled on one side. Ideal for decoration in a curiosity cabinet style or as an accent piece in high-end eclectic decor. Period: Early 20th century (circa 1900-1920) Creator / Manufacturer: Moynat Paris. Materials: Solid wood, period fabric, solid brass, leather. Dimensions: L 110 cm X D 63 cm X H 70 cm. Condition: Beautiful original condition, authentic patina and preserved travel marks. Hardware is sound and solid (I do not have the keys). Original leather handles are patinated.
