Maple and ebony inlays used for edge stringing; brass hardware present. Decoration: Large oval marquetry inlay on the lid featuring a shell motif with pyrographic detailing. Chevron/herringbone birch panel framed by multiple concentric inlaid borders and fine dark stringing. Construction: Interior in oak with visible remnants of original fittings.
