Reading Floor Lamp with Adjustable Arm in Gold Brass. French Work. Vers

This reading lamp features a tubular brass shaft topped with a baluster finial, resting on a moulded circular base with a fluted edge. The double-jointed adjustable arm, finished with an elegant drop-shaped finial, allows the light to be directed towards the reading chair. The black conical shade with a gold interior concentrates a warm light. This model is part of the neoclassical tradition of library lighting, revived in the 1970s by French houses of gilded brass, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen. Condition report: Generally good condition. Brass with a beautiful, even golden patina. A refined reading lamp, perfect next to an armchair or in a reading nook.
