Telescopic Reading Floor Lamp in Gold Brass with Articulated Arm and Shade

This reading floor lamp features a tubular brass body with a telescopic system that allows for height adjustment, resting on a molded circular base. The double-pivot articulated arm directs the light as needed towards the reading chair. The conical lampshade made of English green lacquered metal, with a golden interior, diffuses a warm and concentrated light, reminiscent of library lamps. This telescopic model is rooted in the neoclassical tradition of reading lamps, revived in the 1970s by French houses of gilded brass, in the spirit of the productions of Maison Jansen. Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a beautiful homogeneous golden patina, green metal of the lampshade, functional telescopic mechanism. Electricity checked by an electrician. A practical and elegant reading lamp, perfect for an office or library.
