Brass reading lamp circa 1980

Very elegant reading lamp from the 1980s, the manufacturer of which we have not been able to identify. Nevertheless, we can affirm that the quality of the craftsmanship is high: solid brass, the movement of the telescopic arm is very fluid, switch on the socket, and a weighted cast iron circular base that ensures great stability. The drum shade tops it all off with simplicity. Here, we appreciate a classic and timeless design, executed with care — the only sign of age is a slight loss of gilding on the shaft, easily correctable with a polish of the whole piece. Works perfectly with a large screw LED bulb.
