A suspended bookcase in black-stained ash and aluminum from the 1970s, designed by George Nelson and manufactured by Herman Miller, distributed in Europe by Mobilier International. Model CSS. Fully modular. The four floor-to-ceiling aluminum uprights are secured to the floor by an adjustable jack and to the ceiling by a spring-loaded telescopic rod that inserts into a wall anchor. Comprising several modules and shelves that slide into the uprights without tools, thanks to the aluminum brackets: The height of the modules and shelves can be adjusted using adjustable clips that slide along the uprights (tool: Allen key).
