George Nelson Action Office architect's desk + Perch stool

Rare architect's desk by Georges Nelson, produced by Hermann Miller in 1964, from the "Action Office System" series. Sold with its height-adjustable "Perch" stool, this set is part of the very first editions identifiable by the "architect" blue, referencing the primary colours used by Le Corbusier. It features a polished aluminium base, a melamine top, and a filing cabinet covered in vinyl, with lacquered wooden sides. It shows some signs of wear on the paint as well as on the stool's base. The filing cabinet lid functions perfectly and has its original key; its organisation is interchangeable by simply moving the dividers, and the drawers are in perfect condition. The working position with the Perch stool is very comfortable for architects and designers. No modifications or restorations have been made; it is rare to find one with a beautiful patina of use and history like this. Delivery and installation are possible in Paris and the surrounding area for 100 Euros, as well as along the Paris/Deauville route.
