Scandinavian wall system in teak 1960

Elegant Scandinavian wall system from the 1960s, made of teak, consisting of 4 vertical posts fixed to the floor/ceiling (tension system); made of perforated solid wood allowing complete modularity. Shelves and suspended cabinets hang freely thanks to sculpted wooden brackets, typical of Danish productions of the time. Each column is 80cm wide and all elements are interchangeable. It consists of 7 shelves, 2 storage boxes 52cm deep, and a display cabinet with bevelled corners. Very high-quality craftsmanship. THE POSTS are not screwed to the walls but are held in place between the wall and the ceiling - very easy to install as there is a very clever spring system at the ends and inside the wooden posts. Minimum height 2.53m, maximum height 2.61m. Rare complete set, fully modular and reconfigurable. Very high-quality manufacturing: regular teak grain, precise work on the angles and brackets, uniform patina. A rare set in this condition and in such a wide format. Ideal for a living room, office, or library, this system offers a strong decorative presence while remaining airy and typically mid-century.
