Marquetry dresser in Louis XV style, opening top.
A true character piece, not a chipboard copy. This Louis XV/Louis XVI transitional style dressing table is entirely veneered in wood marquetry, featuring a chevron design and light inlays on each drawer. It has a curved front, cabriole legs, and a lovely brass lock entry. It embodies all the charm of classic French furniture. It is also very practical. Its top opens in three parts, it has two drawers and a sliding shelf. When closed, it is compact. When opened, it offers a large work surface. It is suitable as a dressing table, a small desk, or an entrance console. It is in generally good condition, with a few minor signs of use on the legs, which are normal for a piece of this quality. Dimensions: Height: 76 cm. Width: 80 cm (130 cm when the top is open) Depth: 68 cm. Shelf: 33.5 × 28.5 cm. Price: €300. To be collected in NESLES LA VALLEE (95690). Contact me for additional photos.
