Beautiful bowl, catch-all, in ceramic, signed "ar" for Alain Rufas, 1960s/70s, Vallauris. Alain Rufas, born in 1941, is a French painter, engraver, sculptor, and ceramist; he worked from 1965 to 2004 in Vallauris, then moved to Lavaur (Tarn) to continue his metal sculptural work... Strongly chamotte clay and glazed, relief figures. Excellent condition; a slight chip in the glaze should be noted around the edge (see photos). Diameter: 13.1 cm. Height: 3.2 cm. Weight: 300 grams.
