Small stoneware bowl signed: this piece captivates with its sculpted relief decoration, almost earthy, worked directly into the material before firing. The central motif, graphic and symbolic, is organised around a play of deeply incised textures, enhanced by a nuanced glazing that blends warm brown, mineral beige, and deep green on the rim. The whole exudes a strong presence, both raw and sensitive. The bowl is signed with an incised stamp under the base, attesting to a carefully crafted artisanal production, characteristic of the work of the Hurtault workshop. Ceramists in Burgundy, Nathalie and Christophe Hurtault are part of the tradition of Puisaye stoneware, within the family workshop founded in 1976, combining artisanal know-how and contemporary design. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of use under the base, consistent with the age and artisanal nature of the piece. Diameter 11.5 cm, height 1.5 cm.
