Leather floor lamp Model Flet modern Danish mid-century by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960s

An elegant lamp from the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup, designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1960s. A timeless design with distinctive materiality. The lamp features a classic floor lamp shape with a saucer-shaped base, a stem, and a simple lampshade. The stem is elegantly finished in black leather. The lampshade is covered in a coarse-textured textile and has a round diffuser on top to reduce light emission upwards. Removing the diffuser allows more ambient light to pass through. The switch is located inside the lamp socket. The heavy saucer-shaped base is made of cast iron and has integrated feet to create a shadow effect, elevating it off the ground. An aluminium cover serves as a diffuser for the top of the lamp. The lamp is in very good condition with some signs of wear on the base and a patina. It has been professionally re-wired.
