Vintage Cocoon floor lamp by Goldkant

Vintage Cocoon floor lamp produced by Goldkant Leuchten, Germany, in the late 1960s. This stylish lamp with geometric shapes in the shade was made using a special technique called 'spray-on fibreglass coating', a technique inspired by the spinning of silk. This is why the lamp is also called the Cocoon lamp. The shade is height adjustable. The lamp is in very neat vintage condition with few signs of use. Dimensions are as follows: height 160 cm, shade diameter 44 cm.
