Danish teak floor lamp from the 1960s

The wide, rounded base of this Danish floor lamp transitions into a long, slender stand made of solid teak. The base is constructed from different pieces of wood, with the changing direction of the grain beautifully visible, giving the shape extra depth. Despite its generous size, the lamp has a calm, elegant silhouette. Above the wooden stand, a chrome-plated rod rises, adjustable in height with a brass adjustment ring. Under the large original fabric shade is a special fixture with three light points: two directed downwards and one providing indirect light via a white reflector at the top. The light points can be switched individually, allowing you to adjust the brightness and atmosphere as desired. The natural fabric shade contrasts nicely with the warm teak. Together with the slender stand and sculptural base, this gives the lamp its distinctive mid-century look. The floor lamp has been fully renovated in our workshop: the teak has been carefully cleaned and refinished, and the electrical components checked, so the lamp is ready for immediate use.
