19th century Syrian, mother of pearl inlay marquetry wedding cabinet or chest

A large mother of pearl inlay marquetry cabinet form damascus, syria. These chests or cabinets were used as wedding chests. This cabinet is from the 19th century. It is in good condition, all the pearl inlay is original and complete. The cabinet has had some small honest repairs over the years ( please see pics ) but this just adds character to the chest. We even found an old template ( please see last 3 pics ) on the bottom of the cabinet.
