Orchies set of 6 yellow earthenware dessert plates with stencilled fruit decoration.

This superb dessert service is made of earthenware from the Saint-Amand - Moulin des Loups factory in Orchies in the north. In slipware, these plates feature a beautiful yellow colour on the rim and are adorned with raised fruits enhanced with stencilling. This lot includes: cherries, plums, white currants, grapes (2x), and hazelnuts. They measure 19.5 cm in diameter. In generally good condition, they are signed in relief from the mill "ORCHIES". Please note: there are defects in the glazed decorations and a chip on the back.
