Saint-Clément "Orchard" Mid-Century Barbotine Plates

These four antique dessert plates in slipware from Saint-Clément from the 1950s/60s celebrate the fruits of the garden with the decorative generosity that made the Lorraine manufacture successful. Golden apricots, indulgent raspberries, vibrant cherries. Each plate creates its own scene, enhanced by lightly raised foliage and colours that have remained surprisingly fresh. We particularly love the work of the slipware, which adds volume to the patterns and captures the light. Together, they form a charming set, straddling the art of the table and decorative objects. We can already imagine them enhancing a lunch in the garden, bringing an irresistible retro touch and wildly poetic flair to the table decoration! They are all in very good condition.
