Alfred Hendrickx, Sideboard with Ceramic Art by Willy Meysmans

Sideboard model 308 by Belgian designer Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, Belgium, 1958. One of the more unusual Belform productions, the piece combines Hendrickx's architectural furniture language with a unique ceramic tile composition by Belgian artist Willy Meysmans, integrating art directly into the cabinet surface. Executed in light wood with brass feet and an inset tile mosaic signed by Meysmans. The contrast between the linear construction and the expressive ceramic panel gives the sideboard its character. Fully original example with minor wear along the edges, preserved in beautiful vintage condition. A rare piece within Belgian modernist furniture.
