Sideboard and Matching Decorative Art Piece from the Ocean Liner "SS Rotterdam" 1950’s

Absolutely unique piece, especially commissioned for the ocean liner ss-rotterdam, which from the 1950’s provided a ferry service between rotterdam and new york city. This sideboard with its matching side-luminated decorative art piece, was part of the bespoke interior of the luxurious captains room of the ss rotterdam. The ship still exists, now as hotel in the old rotterdam harbour.
