Framed botanical poster

Botanical engraving, print, Pyrus Communis under glass and framed in a beautiful wooden frame decorated with raised golden roses at the corners. Drawing by Carlos von Riefel, an Austrian botanical artist specializing in painting fruits and flowers. Engraving and frame. While the cream-colored background shows some marks, the color of the pears and their foliage is vibrant. The frame, also period, has a few slight marks and small defects. The details have been photographed. The whole is quite charming. External dimensions: 44.5/34.5 cm Internal dimensions: 39/29 cm I have several engravings on the theme of botany, feel free to check my listings.
