Lovers of beautiful vintage modernist tableware will be charmed by this set of plates. Created by Bernard Serraz for the Manufacture Bretonne de Faïences Artistiques (MBFA) in Pornic in the 1950s and 60s, the designs are hand-painted on a sky blue background. Very original in their oval shape and stylised fish motif, they are rare to find, especially in such condition. Set of 9 pieces, some of which have small enamel losses from the manufacturing process, on the backs. No chips, no cracks. I can imagine them being used for both everyday dining and at a reception table, and you? 25.5x25.5 cm.
